Legal
By using GridPlan you agree to these terms. The short version: use it for legitimate electrical network planning, don't abuse the service, your project data belongs to you.
By accessing or using GridPlan at enplannet.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GridPlan is a browser-based electrical distribution network planning tool. It allows users to design medium and low voltage networks, run load flow simulations, import CAD and GIS data, and share results via read-only links. The Service is provided as-is for planning and educational purposes.
Important: GridPlan is a planning tool only. Results from load flow simulations must not be used as the sole basis for construction, commissioning, or safety-critical decisions without independent engineering verification.
You may use the editor without an account. Creating an account allows you to save projects, access them across sessions, and use the sharing feature. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You retain full ownership of all project data you create in GridPlan — node positions, edge data, network parameters, and imported files. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your project data.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your project data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You can export your data at any time in GeoJSON, CSV, Shapefile, KML, or DXF format using the Export function in the editor.
You agree not to:
When you share a project via a share link, the network data (node positions, edge data, load flow results) becomes publicly accessible to anyone with that link. You are responsible for ensuring that shared data does not contain sensitive or confidential information. You can revoke sharing at any time.
We aim to keep GridPlan available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service downtime.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that load flow results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular engineering application. All simulation results should be independently verified by a qualified engineer before use in any real-world context.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prince Osei Boateng and GridPlan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or engineering errors resulting from reliance on simulation results.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stuttgart, Germany.
